Pandora remote engine start – now available for BMW / MINI owners too

These vehicles are popular around the world and have advanced electronic systems, and particularly complex starting systems. The E-xx generation of German cars uses a combined starting system: with the key inserted, the “Start/Stop” button must also be pressed, and instead of the usual contacts it uses sensors that work with a special algorithm, which is simply impossible to simulate with conventional and outdated methods.

Until today there were only two options:

1. Buying and programming a third factory key, hidden in the car inside a bypass module.
2. Buying the Canadian model, at a cost of more than €500, which came with a host of limitations.

Looking ahead

Pandora’s solution for the remote engine start of BMW / MINI is different, and it needs no hidden key.

For these cars specifically, we built a dedicated BMW BYPASS INTERFACE module, which on the one hand offers a plug-and-play connection to the engine-start wiring and on the other connects easily to Pandora’s modern alarms through the IMMO KEY INTERFACE.

This is how the first and only product in the world came about that has no limitation in functionality, while also being the safest option at the lowest cost!

Of course, our solution needs no further keys or chips, and the activation method is simple and quick – even in the most difficult cases the procedure takes 2 minutes at most!

Most importantly – for the first time, remote engine start is available for cars with manual gearboxes, with the help of specially developed software that provides reliable protection against an accidental engine start.

It offers more comfort options, such as:

• Engine ignition support
• Turbo timer
• Ignition cut-off
• No need to switch off the engine when you disarm (this function is still at a testing stage and may temporarily have limitations on some models).
